The Magnolia Palette's Plans for 2025

Howdy everyone, It is now 2025, and that means a new year for The Magnolia Palette. I started this blog during the August of 2024, and since then, it has grown by a decent, yet satisfying amount. I am grateful for my readers, and I hope you enjoyed my articles. For now, here are some plans I have for this blog going in the near future:

Video Game Spotlights: I plan on writing articles on some of my favorite video games, sharing my appreciation and experience I had playing them, Hopefully, you are compelled enough to try them out. The frequency of these posts are highly uncertain, and I might not commit to a monthly release.

Diverse Variety in Book Recommendations: In my review of A Fault In Our Stars by John Green, I wrote that I will be broadening my reading palette a bit further, and maybe even revisiting some old ones I have read. I will still commit to a monthly release for these ones, and I can't wait to see what books I like, and which ones I didn't.

Long-Form Articles: I intend to make more articles similar to the vein as the one on American cultural hegemony, these articles will be more rare, but I will discuss a wider field of topics such as cultaral analysis, politics and other sociopolitical topics.

The Nintendo Switch Successor: 2025 is the year we will get a successor to the Nintendo Switch, I plan on release multiple articles on all-things Nintendo in the coming months, where I discuss multiple things.

Worldbuilding Workshops: This is something I might possibly consider. As someone who loves writing for fun, I think I should write a series of articles on tips and tricks on worldbuidling and writing, but that depends whether or not there is demand for it.

Rankings: The article I did on ranking Taylor Swift albums did garner a lot of views, and I am considering writing a couple more ranking lists, though they may be on other topics (MCU films, Cartoon Network shows, NFL logo designs, are all top contenders).

Again, I am a college student with college stuff to worry about, so I will likely not commit to all of these plans, but I will do what makes it fun for me. Until then, I hope you look forward to my next blog.
